Jon was the owner/developer of this site. Jon and his company were responsible for site selection, neighborhood design, all entitlements, approvals and facilitating the sale of the development to two different builders. Long time residents of Stillwater are extremely familiar with Brown’s Creek and the Brown’s Creek Park and Nature Preserve (at Neal Avenue). Recently the Brown’s Creek Trail – perfect for a beautiful walk or non-motorized vehicles – was developed along the old railroad tracks where the Minnesota Zephyr traveled.
That’s why the location was chose to develop this new neighborhood, and we’ve named it appropriately: Brown’s Creek Preserve. This will be an intimate, smaller neighborhood – just 15 homesites on five acres. It will include a wooded backdrop, strictly one culdesac (so no traffic through the neighborhood).
Homesites will range from .25 to .4 acres, and homes prices will range from $500,000 to the mid-$700′s. There will be a combination of lookouts and walkouts.
There are two builders in the development, Custom One Homes and Cates Fine Homes. Watch for more updates. We’ll be starting to take homesite reservations in late Fall 2013.
